Data Collection

FlowFit does not collect any personal data. The app does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any identifying information. No usage analytics, telemetry, or advertising identifiers are accessed or shared.

Data Storage

All data you enter — including workout sessions, exercises, sets, reps, weights, durations, and notes — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device. If you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed.

Server & Network Access

FlowFit operates entirely offline. The app makes no network requests of any kind. No data is sent to our servers — we operate no servers that interact with this app. No internet connection is required to use any feature of FlowFit.

Photo & Camera Access

FlowFit offers an optional feature to attach a progress photo to each workout session. Photos are accessed only when you explicitly choose to add one. They are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded, analysed, or shared with any third party. You can revoke camera and photo library permissions at any time via iOS Settings.

Apple & App Store

FlowFit is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain standard diagnostic and crash information as governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy. This data is handled entirely by Apple and is not accessible to us. See apple.com/privacy for details.

Children's Privacy

FlowFit does not knowingly collect any information from users of any age. Because no data is collected at all, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of information from minors.

Changes to This Policy

f we ever update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be made available through the App Store listing. Continued use of FlowFit after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

iCloud Sync — Privacy Statement

What is stored

When you enable iCloud Sync in FlowFit, your workout sessions, exercises (including sets, reps, weights, durations, and distances), and session notes are stored in your private iCloud database. This database is tied exclusively to your Apple ID. In-progress drafts, app preferences, and tip dismissals are not synced and remain on your device only.

Session photos are not uploaded by FlowFit. Photos are stored in your device's Photos library. If you have iCloud Photos enabled separately through iOS Settings, they sync through Apple's iCloud Photos service — FlowFit does not manage or control this process.

How your data is protected

All synced data is encrypted by Apple both in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption. Your workout data is stored in a private CloudKit database that only devices signed into your Apple ID can access. No other user, device, or third party can read your data.

Network requirements

FlowFit is fully functional offline. No internet connection is required to log workouts, view history, or use any feature. When iCloud Sync is enabled, the app communicates with Apple's CloudKit servers to synchronise data across your devices. This is the only network communication FlowFit makes — no data is sent to any other server.

Developer access

We have zero access to your iCloud data. We do not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your information. We cannot read, export, analyse, or share any of your workout data. No analytics, telemetry, or tracking libraries are included in FlowFit.

Data deletion

You can delete individual sessions within the app. If iCloud Sync is enabled, deletions propagate across all your devices. To permanently remove all workout data from iCloud, use the "Delete iCloud Data" option in the iCloud Sync settings. Disabling iCloud Sync or deleting the app does not automatically remove data from iCloud — it must be explicitly deleted. You can also manage your iCloud storage through iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage.
